The flat bottom is really satisfying on this one.

I used a "looping" stitch as opposed to a "biting" stitch; #1 was made with a biting stitch, in which new coils are secured by "biting" or stitching through the coil below. In a "looping" stitch, the needle simply passes underneath the coil below. These aren't technical terms by the way, just the words I use because they make sense to me.
